1. Introduction

1.1  Welcome to the ePlusOne Green Energy Marketplace System Platform operated by Metaverse Quantum Technology Co., Ltd. (individually and collectively referred to as "ePlusOne", "the Company", "we" or "our"). ePlusOne takes its responsibilities under applicable privacy and personal data protection laws and regulations (hereinafter referred to as "Privacy Laws") seriously and is committed to respecting the privacy and concerns of all users of the ePlusOne website (hereinafter referred to as "this Platform") (we refer to this Platform and the services we provide on this Platform as "this Service"). Users who register an account with us to use this Service, including buyers and sellers (individually and collectively referred to as "Users", "you" or "you"), we understand that the personal data you entrust to us is extremely important and we believe that it is our responsibility to properly manage, protect and handle your personal data. This privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Privacy Policy" or "Policy") is designed to help you understand how we currently and in the future collect, use, disclose and/or process the personal data you provide to us and/or that we have about you, and to help you make an informed decision before providing any personal data to us. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.

1.2   "Personal Data" means information about an individual, whether true or false, by which that individual can be identified, or by which that individual can be identified together with other organizations holding or potentially having access to that information. Common examples of Personal Data include name, identity card number and contact information.

1.3  By using the Services, registering an account with us, visiting our Platform or accessing the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the practices, requirements and/or policies outlined in this Privacy Policy and hereby consent to our collection, use, disclosure and/or processing of the Personal Data described herein. If you do not agree to your Personal Data being processed as described in this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Services or access the Platform. If we change our Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting such changes or the revised Privacy Policy on the Platform. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Your continued use of the Services or Platform, including ordering products, shall be deemed to constitute your understanding and consent to the modifications to this Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

1.4  This Privacy Policy applies in conjunction with other notices, contractual terms, and consent terms applicable to our collection, storage, use, disclosure, or processing of your personal data, and does not exclude the latter, unless we expressly state otherwise.

1.5  This Privacy Policy applies to both buyers and sellers who use this service, unless otherwise expressly excluded.

2. When will ePlusOne collect personal information?

2.1  We will/may collect your personal information at the following times:

(a)  When you register and/or use the Service or Platform, or open an account with us

(b)  When you submit an online or physical form, including but not limited to an application or other form related to our products or services

(c)  When you sign an agreement, or provide other documents or information in connection with your interaction with us, or when you use our products and services

(d)  When you interact with us by telephone (which may be recorded), mail, fax, face-to-face meetings, social media platforms and email, including interactions with our customer service staff

 

(f)  When you allow information to be shared with our applications or platforms on your mobile device

(g)  When you link your ePlusOne account with your social media account or other external account or use other social media features, in accordance with the policies of the service provider

(h)  When you conduct transactions through the Service

(i)  When you provide us with comments or complaints

(j) When you submit personal data to us for any reason

The above situations are not all-inclusive, but only list some common instances where your personal data may be collected.

2.2 We may collect your personal data from you, us, third parties and other sources, including but not limited to business partners (such as logistics or financial service providers), credit reporting units or credit scoring agencies, marketing service providers or partners, referral marketing or reward programs, other users of our services, publicly available or from government data sources.

2.3  In some cases, you may provide us with the personal data of other individuals (such as your family members, friends or people in your contact list). If you provide us with their personal data, you should declare and warrant that you have obtained their consent to process their personal data in accordance with this policy.

3. What personal data does ePlusOne collect?

3.1 ePlusOne will collect the user's personal information within the necessary scope of using this service, including but not limited to:

• Name

• Email address

• Date of Birth

• Billing and/or Shipping Address

• Bank Account and Payment Information

• Phone number

• Gender

• Information about or transmitted from the device you use to access the Service or Platform

• Information about your network (including your contact list when you share permissions on your device) and the people you interact with and their accounts

• Photos, audio recordings or videos of you

• Certificates or other information issued by government agencies required for our due diligence, Know Your Customer, identity verification and/or fraud prevention purposes

• marketing and communications, such as your preferences for receiving marketing from us or third parties, your communications preferences and records of communications with us, our service providers or other third parties

• usage and transaction records, including your searches, order content, advertising content you interact with on the Platform, and other products or services related to you

• Location information

• Any other information about the user provided when the user registers to use the Service or Platform and when the user uses the Service or Platform, and information related to how the user uses the Service or Platform

• Based on the aforementioned information, in accordance with the "Specific Purposes and Categories of Personal Information of the Personal Information Protection Act" promulgated by the Ministry of Justice, the types of your personal information collected, processed, used and retained by the Company are listed below:

• C001 Identifying individuals. (For example: name, job title, address, work address, previous address, home phone number, mobile phone number, online platform account, membership number, correspondence and household registration address, email address and any other identifiable information.)

• C002 Identify financial information. (For example, financial institution account number and name, credit or debit card number, other personal numbers or accounts, etc.)

• C003 Identifiers from government data. (For example, identity card number, passport number, etc.)

• C011 Personal description. (e.g. age, gender, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, etc.)

• C031 Residence and facilities. (e.g. residential address)

• C034 Travel and other migration details. (e.g. travel details)

• C035 Leisure activities and interests. (e.g. hobbies, sports and other interests.)

• C036 Lifestyle. (e.g. types of consumer goods and details of services used, personal or family consumption patterns, etc.)

• C102 Agreement or contract. (For example, regarding transactions, business, legal or other contracts, agencies, etc.)

• C103 Business-related licenses. (For example, whether a license exists.)

• C132 Unclassified information. (For example: unclassifiable letters, files, reports or emails, etc.)

3.2  You agree not to provide us with any false or misleading information, and you agree to notify us of any errors or changes in the information you provide. We reserve the right to request any further documents from you to verify the information you provide at our sole discretion.

3.3  If you do not want us to collect the above information/personal data, you can opt out at any time by notifying our "Data Protection Officer" in writing. You can find further information on opting out in the section below titled "How do I withdraw my consent, remove, request access to, or modify the information you have provided to us?" Please note, however, that if you do not allow or agree to our collection, use, or processing of your Personal Data, your use of the Services and Platform may be affected. For example, not allowing us to collect information about your location may result in the deactivation of location-based features.

4. Other Information Collection

4.1  As with most websites and mobile applications, your device will send information that may be related to you, and the web server will record this information when you browse this platform. This typically includes, but is not limited to: your device's IP address, computer or mobile device operating system and browser type, mobile device type, mobile device features, mobile device unique device identifier (UDID) or mobile equipment identifier (MEID), the address of the referring website (if any), and the web pages you visit when you are on our platform or mobile application and the time of visit. Sometimes cookies (which can be disabled using browser preferences) are used to help this platform remember your previous visit information. When you log in, this information will be associated with your personal account. This information is also included in anonymous statistics to help us understand how visitors use our platform.

4.2   Because you browse pages on our website, when you view content, advertisements and access other software through our platform or this service, such information may also be transmitted to us (including but not limited to IP address, operating system, etc.), but your device will transmit to us information about the content, advertisements and/or software installed on this service and this platform and the time you viewed, rather than the pages you viewed.

5.COOKIE

5.1  We or our authorized service providers and advertising partners may sometimes use "Cookies" or other features that allow us or third parties to collect or share information related to your use of the Service or Platform. These features help us improve the Platform and the Service we provide, help us provide new services and features, and/or enable us or our advertising partners to provide you with more relevant content, including remarketing. "Cookies" are identifiers stored on your computer or mobile device that record information about your computer or device and tell us how, when, by whom, and other activities on our Platform are used or visited. We may link Cookie information to personal information. Cookies are also linked to information about the items you choose to purchase and the pages you view. This information is used to track your shopping cart, deliver content specific to your interests, enable our third-party advertising partners to serve advertisements on sites across the Internet, perform data analysis, and monitor the use of our Service.

5.2  If you wish to refuse the use of Cookies, please select the appropriate setting on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of our Platform or Service.

6. How do we use the information you provide to us?

6.1 We may collect, use, disclose and/or process your personal data for one or more of the following purposes

(a) Considering and/or processing your application/transaction with us, or your transaction or communication with a third party through the Service

(b)   Manage, operate, provide and/or process your use and/or access of our Services and Platform (including, without limitation, remembering your preferences), your relationship with us, and your user account with us

(c)   Respond to, process, respond to or complete transactions, transfer balances after account termination, and/or fulfill your requests for specific products and services, and notify you of service issues and unusual account activity

(j)   Facilitate other users to interact with you on the Platform, connect with you or see some of your activities on the Platform, including notifying you when another user sends you a private message or posts a comment for you on the Platform or contacting you through the social features on the Platform.

(k)   Conduct research, analysis and development activities (including but not limited to data analysis, questionnaires, product and service development and/or profiling) to analyze your use of the Service, recommend products or services related to your interests, improve our Service or products and/or enhance your customer experience

(l)   Allow audits and surveys to confirm the size and composition of the target audience and understand their experience with the Service

(m)   For marketing or advertising purposes, send you information about ePlusOne through various communication media and modes. (and/or its affiliates or related companies) may be selling, marketing or promoting products and/or services (including but not limited to third-party products and/or services that may be provided in cooperation or jointly with ePlusOne), whether such products or services already exist or will be established in the future; you can unsubscribe from receiving marketing information at any time through the unsubscribe function in the electronic marketing information. We may use your contact information to send you our or our affiliates' newsletters or marketing information.

(n)   Provide rewards, partner and bonus point programs and offers and other co-branded marketing activities, such as store rewards programs, seller offers or co-branded credit cards provided in cooperation with third-party partners.

(o) To respond to legal process or comply with any applicable legal, governmental or regulatory request in any jurisdiction or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary, including but not limited to compliance with disclosure requirements under any law binding on ePlusOne or its affiliates or related companies (including but not limited to disclosure of your name, contact information and company information as required by applicable law)

(p) To generate statistics and research results for internal and statutory reporting and/or record keeping requirements

(q)   Perform due diligence or other screening actions (including but not limited to background checks) in accordance with legal or regulatory obligations or our risk management procedures (as required by law or implemented by us)

(r)   Audit our Services or ePlusOne's business

(s)   Prevent or investigate any actual or potential violations of our Terms of Service, fraud, illegal activity, negligence or misconduct, whether related to your use of the Service or arising out of your relationship with us;

(t)   Respond to any alleged or actual claims against ePlusOne or other claims that content infringes the rights of third parties

(u)   Storing, hosting, backing up (whether for disaster recovery or other purposes) your personal data, whether within or outside your jurisdiction

(v)   Processing and/or facilitating business asset transactions or potential business asset transactions involving ePlusOne, or involving only ePlusOne's affiliates or related entities, or involving ePlusOne and/or any one or more of ePlusOne's affiliates or related entities, and possibly other third-party organizations. "Business Asset Transaction" means the purchase, sale, lease, integration, merger or any other acquisition, disposal or financing of an organization, a portion of an organization or any business or asset of an organization

(w) any other purpose that we disclose to you at the time we obtain your consent.

6.3  Since the purpose for which we will/may collect, use, disclose or process your personal information depends on the circumstances at the time, the purpose may not appear in the above items. However, we will inform you of the other purpose at the time of obtaining your consent, unless the privacy law allows us to process the applicable data without your consent.

7. How does ePlusOne protect and store customer information?

7.1  We implement a variety of security measures to ensure that your personal data is safe and secure on our system, but inevitably cannot guarantee absolute security. User personal data is contained behind a secure network and can only be accessed by a limited number of employees who have special access rights to the system.

7.2 We will store your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Act and/or other applicable laws. This means that we will destroy or anonymize your personal data immediately when we reasonably believe that (i) the retention of the personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected; (ii) the retention of the personal data is no longer necessary for any legal or business purpose; and (iii) there is no other legal interest in further retaining the personal data. If you stop using the Platform or your right to use the Platform and/or the Services is terminated or revoked, we will continue to store, use and/or disclose your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our obligations under the Privacy Act. Under applicable law, we may dispose of your personal data securely without prior notice to you.

8. Will ePlusOne disclose the information it collects from visitors to third parties?

8.1 In conducting our business, we will/may need to use, process, disclose or transfer your personal data to third-party service providers, agents and/or our affiliates or related companies and/or other third parties (whether or not located in Singapore) for one or more of the above purposes. The third-party service providers, agents and/or related companies or affiliates and/or other third parties may process your personal data on our behalf or in other ways for one or more of the above purposes. We will strive to ensure that the third party or related company protects your personal data from any unauthorized access, collection, disclosure, use or any similar risks, and only retains your personal data for the above purposes. Such third parties include but are not limited to:

(a)   Our subsidiaries, related companies and affiliated companies;

(b)   Buyers or sellers with whom you have traded or interacted on this platform, or related to your use of this service for the aforementioned purposes;

(c)   Other users of our Platform for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy;

(d)   Contractors, agents, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business. These include, but are not limited to, entities that provide management or other services to us, such as mailing companies, logistics service providers, financial service providers, advertising and marketing partners, telecommunications companies, information technology companies and data centers;

(e)   Governmental or regulatory authorities with jurisdiction over ePlusOne or as permitted by Section 6.2;

(f)   Consolidation, divestiture, reorganization, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer (whether in the form of a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceedings) a buyer or other successor to some or all of ePlusOne's assets, in which personal data held by ePlusOne about users of the Service is among the assets transferred; or the counterparty to a business asset transaction involving ePlusOne or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries; and

(g) Third parties to whom we disclose personal data for one or more purposes, who may in turn collect and process your personal data for one or more purposes.

8.2  We may share statistical and demographic information about users and their use of the Service with advertising partners and third-party advertising, remarketing and/or solution providers.

8.3  For the avoidance of doubt, to the extent that privacy laws or other applicable laws allow organizations, such as us, to collect, use or disclose your personal information without your consent, the rights granted by such laws shall continue to apply. Subject to the foregoing and as permitted by applicable law, we may use your personal data for the legal reasons identified to comply with our legal obligations, fulfill our contractual obligations to you, pursue legitimate interests, and any other reasons that override your data protection rights or as necessary in connection with legal claims.

8.4  Personal data transmitted to or contained on the Website may be unlawfully intercepted or accessed by third parties without our responsibility, technology may malfunction or fail to operate as expected, or someone may access, abuse or misuse information. However, we will deploy reasonable security measures to protect your personal data in accordance with the requirements of privacy laws, but we cannot guarantee absolute security, including but not limited to unauthorized disclosure due to malicious and sophisticated hacker attacks by dissidents without our responsibility.

8.5 As described in the ePlusOne Terms of Service, users who hold other users' personal data due to their use of the Service ("Receiving Party", including the user's employees, agents, company leaders and any person who serves the user or uses the Service on the user's behalf) hereby agree to (i) comply with all personal data protection laws related to the collection, processing, storage or transmission of such data, (ii) allow ePlusOne or the Receiving Party to collect the user's personal data ("Disclosing Party") to delete the collected data from the Receiving Party's database, and (iii) allow ePlusOne or the Disclosing Party to review what data of the Disclosing Party has been collected by the Receiving Party. In each case of (ii) and (iii) above, the requirements of applicable law shall apply.

8.6  Notwithstanding any provisions of this Policy, Seller (including its employees, agents, corporate officers and any person who performs services for Seller or uses the Service on Seller's behalf) shall comply with all applicable privacy laws and shall not use any Buyer's Personal Data received from ePlusOne or Buyer (i) except as reasonably necessary to respond to Buyer's inquiries and respond to, process or complete transactions, (ii) refrain from using such information to contact Buyer outside the ePlusOne platform; (iii) not disclose such Buyer's Personal Data to any unauthorized third party without the prior written consent of Buyer and ePlusOne; and (iv) take adequate security measures to protect Buyer's Personal Data. The Seller shall take all measures to protect the personal data of ePlusOne users held by the Seller, and shall only store the personal data of users in compliance with the provisions of the Personal Data Law and the above purposes, and shall return the data to ePlusOne as soon as possible upon the request of ePlusOne or within a reasonable period after the completion of the transaction, or delete such data as soon as possible, and (v) if there is any potential data leakage or other such user data loss, please notify the ePlusOne Personal Data Protection Officer at eplusonegroup@gmail.com, and the Seller shall promptly notify all potentially affected users of the potential leakage or data loss through the ePlusOne platform. If there is any violation of the above provisions, the Seller shall bear the relevant legal liability and compensate ePlusOne for all losses and expenses incurred thereby, including but not limited to fines, penalties, liquidated damages, compensation, litigation costs and reasonable attorney fees.

9. Information about children

9.1  This service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We will not intentionally collect or store any personal data or unidentifiable information of children under the age of 13, and all parts of this platform or other services are not targeted at children under the age of 13. Parents or legal guardians of children under the age of 13 should ensure that the child does not provide their personal data to this platform, otherwise it will be deemed that the child's parents or legal guardians act on behalf of the child and are bound by it. We will close any accounts used exclusively by children under the age of 13 and remove and/or delete any personal information that we believe was submitted by a child under the age of 13 who was not a parent or legal guardian.

10. Information collected by third parties

10.1  This Platform uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your device, to help the Platform analyze how users use the Platform. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Platform (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the Platform, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

10.2 We and third parties may occasionally make software applications available for download on or through the Platform or the Service. These applications may individually access and allow third parties to view information that identifies you (such as your name, user ID, device IP address or other information), such as cookies that you have previously installed or that were installed for you by third-party software applications or websites. In addition, these applications may require you to provide additional information directly to the third party. ePlusOne does not own or control the third-party products or services provided through these applications. We recommend that you carefully review the terms and other policies published by these third parties on their websites or elsewhere.

11. Disclaimer on Security and Third-Party Websites

11.1 We do not guarantee the security of personal data and/or other information you provide on third-party websites. We do implement various security measures to maintain the security of personal data related to you that we own or control. Your personal information is contained behind secure networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and who are required to keep the personal information confidential. When you place an order or access personal information, we provide secure servers for use. All personal information or sensitive information you provide is encrypted and stored in our databases and is only accessible by those persons stated above.

11.2  In an attempt to provide increased value, we may choose to link to or frame various third-party websites on the Platform. We may also engage in co-branding and other relationships to provide e-commerce and other services and functionality to our visitors. The linked websites have separate and independent privacy policies and security measures. Even if the third party is affiliated with us, we have no control over these linked websites, and each linked website has separate privacy and information collection practices that are not subject to us. We may not receive information collected by co-branded partners or third-party websites (even if offered on our website or through our Platform).

11.3  We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content, security measures (or lack thereof) and activities of these linked sites. These linked sites are provided for your convenience only and you access them at your own risk. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our Platform and the links we place on it and therefore welcome comments relating to these linked sites (including but not limited to where a particular link does not work).

12. How to withdraw consent, remove, request access to or modify the information you provided to us?

12.1  Withdrawal of Consent

13.1.1  If you no longer consent to us collecting, using and/or disclosing your personal data in our possession or control or request us to delete your personal data, please send us an email at eplusonegroup@gmail.com and we will process your request in accordance with this Policy and the Privacy Act. However, if you withdraw your consent, it may mean that we will not be able to continue to provide you with the Service and we may need to terminate your current relationship and/or contract with us.

12.2  Request to access or correct personal information

12.2.1  If you have an account with us, you may personally access and/or correct personal information currently in our possession or control through the "Account Settings" page of the Platform. If you do not have an account with us, you may submit a written request to us to access and/or correct personal information currently in our possession or control. You must provide sufficient information for us to ascertain your identity and the nature of your request so that we can process your request. Therefore, please send us an email at eplusonegroup@gmail.com to submit your written request.

12.2.2  You may request to inquire about, read or request a copy of your personal data (ePlusOne may consider your request and charge necessary and reasonable fees in accordance with the law). We will provide you with the relevant personal data within 15 days after obtaining sufficient information from you to process the request. If we cannot respond to you within the aforementioned 15 days, we will notify you of the earliest time to provide you with the information you requested. If such data is no longer held or kept by us (for example, personal data after the specific purpose of collection has disappeared or the period has expired), we may not be able to process or complete your request.

12.2.3  You may request to supplement, correct, delete, stop processing or use your personal data. After obtaining sufficient information provided by you to process the request, we will:

(a)   Complete the processing within 30 days; and

(b)   If personal information needs to be corrected or supplemented due to reasons attributable to ePlusOne, we will notify the recipients of the information provided in accordance with the law after the correction or supplement.
